Do you get nervous before a job interview? Do you find it difficult to articulate what you are thinking? Are you unsure of how to answer those nebulous questions? Come and role play the part of both the employer and the potential employee to gain the skills and confidence you need for your next interview.

This workshop will help you explore the things you are doing right and the things you are doing wrong when searching for work. We’ll look at everything from career paths to job search techniques, covers letters and resumes, email addresses, phone messages, and interviewing.

Using the Web to Land a Job
It’s not enough to just look in the newspaper or occasionally visit online listings for employment opportunities. Learn job search and networking strategies using the web to help you land a job, including how to use the web once you have an interview. The first hour will be a presentation and discussion format and then there will be a half-hour for hands-on guided implementation of strategies for those who already possess basic computer and internet skills.
