Welcome to the Olean Public Library Public Computing Center's web site. Launched in January 2011, the Olean Public Library Public Computing Center (PCC) provides free public access to computing services as well as instruction in computing and job skills at no cost. This is a part of a statewide initiative broadbandexpress@yourlibrary funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 through September 2012.
The library was awarded a grant of $244,517 to provide free public access computing services and workforce skills to the general public with a focus on services for vulnerable populations (unemployed, underemployed, seniors, and disabled). One on one computer tutoring is also available. The classes and tutoring are open to anyone! Check the schedule for current offerings or e-mail us a [email protected].
